Harbour Primary & Nursery recognised with top National Award!
Newhaven school receives National Award
Harbour Primary school in Newhaven has been recognised for offering a high quality education during a National Conference held by the country's leading education charity Achievement for All 3As at the Institute of Education, London.
The Quality Lead Award celebrates the excellent work being done by the school with Achievement for All 3As to ensure that vulnerable children and their families can achieve the best possible outcomes from their school. In particular through Head teacher, Christine Terrey’s dynamic leadership Harbour Primary has made innovative use of technology to help parents and carers support their children’s education.
Christine Terrey, Head teacher, Harbour Primary was presented with the Quality Lead Award by Professor Sonia Blandford, CEO of Achievement for All 3As.
Christine Terrey said:
‘Achievement for All has been one of the most significant programmes our school has ever engaged with because it is helping us to narrow the gap and improve outcomes for pupils with special educational needs.’
Over 300 delegates from over 200 schools across the country attended the conference.
